The Little Deer by Frida Kahlo |
"I'm gonna jump off the rail, and I'm gonna, like, fly over
the city and I'm gonna be like, 'What's up, Bill Gates?'"
the boy in the flat-brimmed baseball cap
says as he walks by. What does he mean?
I wonder what can be taken
from a statement
such as that, and what
can be taken from a single moment.
Take this one. What can be taken
from the scratch / of pencil on paper?
And so as we wonder,
we also wander
down the path
our imagination (with some help from our heart)
sets for us.
